BoxBell Story

BoxBell was developed by Fluvial Innovations Ltd and invented by the company's founder, Simon Phelps.

"I had been working on concepts for a versatile dumbbell/kettlebell hybrid since 2015 (yes that long ago!).  After doing a weekly circuit session in my local gym - it seemed really odd to me that as you moved around each station you had to pick up different kit..   dumbbell, kettlebell,  VIPR,  TRX etc.

This was the catalyst for looking to develop an all-in-one piece of equipment.  One that offers genuine utility to the user.  Early versions were good, but not good enough.  It wasn't until we stumbled upon the latest concept/mechanism (28th working prototype) that really got me and the team excited.

BoxBell offers a practical weights systems that can be employed for dumbbell, one-handed kettlebell and parallette bar  - all-in-one"   -  Simon Phelps, Nov 2021

In 2018 Her Majesty The Queen selected Fluvial Innovations Ltd as winner of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for Innovation. The Queen’s Award for Enterprise is known globally as a mark of excellence. It is the highest official UK award for British companies
